We want to provide fled children of the Esidy (Yezidi) with fresh fruit from Christmas to the summer.
The hardest hit ethnic group by IS terrorism is the Esids. (They are also called “Yazidi”).
Shelter Now has been working for four years with about 100 families of this group and has already been able to support them in many ways. We distributed food, winter clothes, drinking water, water filters and much more to them. We enable the children to attend school – already the second school year.
Now our local employees have come up with an idea: they want to provide the children with fresh fruit. Starting now at Christmas, and then into the summer, depending on how much money we can collect.

Update December 18: The first fruit distribution has just taken place and the kids are happy (see picture)! And the parents too!
